
Dr. Stevens has been providing psychological services in Waterloo region for over 18 years since moving to the community in 2000. She completed an undergraduate degree in psychology at Queen’s University, a MA at York University, and a PhD at the University of New Brunswick. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Alberta Children’s Hospital. Throughout her career she has worked in various settings including children’s hospitals, children’s community mental health, youth justice, and victim services. She is currently working as a psychologist at the Waterloo Region District School Board and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Waterloo.
Dr. Stevens lives in Waterloo region and is the mother of two daughters. As a parent, she understands the importance of finding strategies that work for children, adolescents and families. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, baking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
